Bulkr Editor's Review

Flickr is world's most popular repository of images and photographs. People use it widely to share their photos online and to view hundreds of thousands of pictures shared by others. The system itself is easy to use and intuitive but when you're dealing with several images, it can become difficult to use. Quite a few days ago I've found a cool program that let's you browse, organize and download your Flickr's pictures, right from your desktop. It's called Bulkr.

Bulkr is a program based on Adobe Air, developed exclusively for Flickr. With it, you can backup your entire photo-stream very easily, download your own set or any user's sets - a folder will be created for every set. At the beginning, when you first start Bulkr, you'll have to authorize the application to access your Flickr's your account. After that, you'll be able manage your photos with ease. For instance, to backup your entire photo-stream, just specify the size of the photos, the destination folder and click on the Start Download.

Bulkr's interface is really simple, and looks awesome as well as many other Adobe Air applications. At the top of the windows you'll find two tabs – You and Flickr. If you're going to step into the first tab (You), you'll be able to view your photo-stream, sets and favorites pictures with the option to download or backup them. In the other tab (Flickr) you'll find the possibility to search and download Flickr public photos.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: If you're looking to backing up your own Flickr's images or to find new ones with ease and style, this is what you should use. I highly recommend it.
